He has a sharp eye for business news and the big mouth of a talk radio host. This time around he has some very wealthy guests joining him on his show: two billionaire entrepeneurs and their future successors, who also happen to be their sons. Of course it doesn’t take the bizz jockey a very long time to upset some of his guests and his audience — and that same night the bizz jockey finds himself heading into dangerous waters, in the hands of some very angry rich people. His team — producer Hitomi Sakamoto and sound engineer Don Wozniak — is forced to go out and rescue their reckless boss. And then there are the rich kids they have to deal with.
The first headache for the radio detective
One night three live guests join Carl Pappas on his radio show The Boardroom: two CEOs and a woman who calls herself: “the CEO Groupie”. When the mysterious woman reveals the existence of a secret call girl organization for CEOs and subsequently disappears a couple of days later, the bizz jockey engages on a search. What happened to the CEO Groupie and what are the other two guests up to?
Together with his radio team — his producer Hitomi Sakamoto and his sound engineer Don Wozniak — Carl Pappas sets out to deal with this.

“What a great TV series this would make!”

“I read the one-plus chapter preview of ‘Acid Asset’ on Amazon. You certainly know how to hook a reader! The spy swap to open the story quickly got my adrenaline flowing. Then, as I read the second chapter, I became intrigued with how the bizz jockey was linked with the doctor from the first chapter. That strong pacing and solid writing has me convinced that ‘Acid Asset’ would be an entertaining crime novel.”
